Max and Me!

The day I heard that "Marley and Me" was coming to theaters I was stoked! I have always liked dogs but never really understood people who loved their dog. Well if you know me now I am Head over paws for my pup! As soon as I could escape my parents snowed in house I booked it to the Regal, paid the $100(exaggeration) for movie tickets and Tyler, My mom, Dad and I saw "Marley and Me." Could any movie in the whole have hit home more? Although, Max is a well trained pup he has his days and wow did they portray having a dog right on.

Marley
Max

I crying for an hour and left the theater with a head ache because I Loved the movie so much! I kept thinking of my trouble making puppy. In the movie a young couple gets married, get a dog and start a life. They have children, buy homes, change jobs, and live a life with a crazy dog.

Here is Max Christmas morning, before Tyler and I woke up Max sniffed around all ours presents and found his. Ate all of them, including most of the wrapping paper, but at least he enjoyed Christmas. He also insisted on helping us by pulling off the wrapping paper from our presents with his teeth and sniffing them to make sure they were ok! How thoughtful! Plus, our life is 100x's easier with his new tennis ball thrower!

Yes, that is wrapping paper between his paws
By the way mom and dad, Thanks for the slippers for our future child! Max is breaking them in for us!

All you at reading this with your children I know are thinking how stupid it is that I blog about my dog. Well you blog about your kids and right now Max is my child! Plus, how can you not love that face!

Oregon, Anniversary, and New Years!

Oregon was really fun! We hung with my Parents and spent a lot of time at their house because we were snowed in for most the week. They had 3 feet of snow when we arrived Christmas day.

Luckily, we escaped for our One year Anniversary to the Hotel Lucia downtown Portland. We spent most the day in the room but we ate a great dinner and enjoyed each others company.

Everything else is behind closed doors!
While in Oregon we saw Chris and Tiffany Baruss and their little boy Kaden. It was good to catch up with them after not seeing them in over a year. Also, was saw Marissa and Blaine Andersen and their little girl Mylee. Always good to see you guys when i come home! Miss you all!

New years my Parents had a small party with friends! Billy and Michele came, as well as some close family friends rang in New Year with us! I was very fun and I must say that 2009 will be a great one!

Kiss me at midnight!

The Christmas Season!

Candy Trains is a family tradition that Tyler's family started when he was little. The weekend after Thanksgiving we all get together again and start the Holiday season off right. Really what is more fun then an edible decorative train!

Getting Started...and the Finished product...
Tyler's mom and dad have a fabulous party with good food, great holiday decor, friends, and family! Also, our ward had a really fun party. Both of which i took no photos at but luckly at the Dohrman's party Michele took a few, thanks Michele!
The Christmas Season is always so fun, I love all the sights, smells, taste and music. Disneyland, Sugar cookies, Christmas shopping, nieces dance recitals, decorating the house, I love it all!

Christmas morning Tyler and I opened presents with together under our little tree, Max help of course (he even shared some sugar cookies with us.) Tyler got me a beautiful Tiffany's Necklace, love that boy! We ate a late Breakfast with The Dohrman's and his parents got us the most beautiful Nativity and enough food storage for months! Wonderful! We quickly rushed to the airport in the pouring rain to the airport. Luckly our plane was 30mins late because we got stuck in crazy Christmas day traffic on the 91. But we got to Oregon at 7 at night and drove in the crazy snow and ice to my parents. What a great Christmas!
Even Maxy got dressed up for the Holiday! (Tyler gets so mad when i put things on the dog!)

Thanksgiving!

I know that today is Jan 14th 2009 but i have had some complaints that I need to update my blog! So here goes nothing...
We spent our Thanksgiving with Tyler's family this year, that's about 30 of us only including mom, dad, brothers, sisters and all the nieces and nephews. It is always really fun when we get together and always full of excitement. The day consisted of lots of cooking, eating and laughing!
